Saturday July 22nd at Arab High School Auditorium.

Pageant Rules and information
Date: July 23, 2016 Place: Arab High School Auditorium 750 Arabian Dr Arab, AL 35016
Entry Deadline is July 16th
Registration Begins @ 1:00 Pageant Begins @ 2:30 (No Door Entries the day of the pageant)
Door Admission: $5.00 Adults $3.00 Students. No charge for contestant and one parent or guardian.
Baby Miss: 0 - 18 mths Tiny Miss: 5 – 6 year olds
Toddler Miss: 19 - 35 mths Petite Miss: 7 – 9 year olds
Mini Miss: 3 - 4 year olds Preteen Miss: 10 – 12 year olds
* No Fallback in Age Groups, will compete at the age on the day of the pageant.
*10 contestants per group. We reserve the right to split groups if necessary.
Beauty: Contestants will wear their choice of Formal/Pageant Dress Dresses can be long or short. They
can be lightly stoned or heavily stoned. There is No Pageant Dress Restriction on any age whatsoever! This
event will be judged on PERSONALITY/POISE, NATURAL BEAUTY, CHOICE OF ATTIRE and OVERALL
Hair/MakeUp: No Glitz Makeup or anything Fake: Flippers, eyelashes or hair. MAKEUP IS O.K. FOR ALL
AGES, BUT SHOULD BE AGE APPROPRIATE. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ASK!!! SPRAY TANS ARE
O.K., BUT SHOULD APPEAR NATURAL. JUDGES WILL BE LOOKING FOR NATURAL BEAUTY AND
Photogenic: Picture(s) may be Black and White or Color of the contestant only and turned in 30 mins prior
to start of pageant. NO GLITZ PHOTOS. Pictures may be 8.5 x 11 or 5 x 7. ALL PICTURES will be returned
after the pageant is over. Please have the contestant’s name and age on the back of each photo turned in.
WE ARE NOT responsible for the pictures AFTER the pageant is completed.
$25 Deposits maybe submitted to Jamie.email@example.com Entry Fee must be paid in full by
deadline. Entry forms emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Entry forms and fees must be
received by July 16th. If you would like to pay a deposit to hold your spot please send $25 with form by mail
or email and paypal.
This pageant is a fundraiser pageant for The Miss Marshall County (prelim to Miss Alabama Outstanding
Teen and Miss Alabama) Each Division Queen is asked to participate during her reign in two parades of
her choice within Marshall County! A parade float will be provided for Arab and Guntersville Christmas
Parades. Queens are asked to promote Miss Marshall County throughout the year by visiting local business
in Marshall wearing Crown and Sash to secure donations. Each queen will be recognized on stage at the
Miss Marshall County Pageant the following day on July 24th.
2 Supreme Queens: 0 – 4 Supreme Queen (contestant with the highest score) 5 – 12 Supreme Queen
(contestant with the highest score) and Queens in each division will receive a Beautiful Round Crown, Hand
Crafted Sash and Trophy. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Alternates will receive a Tiara and sash. Royal Court will
receive a Tiara. Photogenic will receive a medallion. All side titles will receive a sash.
Rising Star is for Age 7 – 11 and will be awarded a crown and sash. 2 Rising Stars will be chosen and will
be introduced on Sunday at the Miss Pageant. They will be entered into the Rising Star Program at Miss
Alabama Outstanding Teen in Sylacauga (March 2017) and Miss Alabama at Sanford in Birmingham (June
2017). Applications for Rising Star will be provided upon entry. “Alabama’s Rising Stars” is a program of
the Miss Alabama Pageant through which contestants act as mentors for young ladies aged seven (7) to
The activities for the Rising Stars are subject to change every year; participants come to the Miss Alabama
Pageant and Outstanding Teen Pageant for activities that may include:
• Lunch and rehearsal with the Miss Alabama contestants one day during pageant week
• Participation on stage during one of the preliminary nights of competition
• Picture in the Miss Alabama program book
• Autographed photo of Miss Alabama
• Miss Alabama program book
• Crown jewelry (one piece)
• Certificate of participation
• The Rising Stars of the top ten finalists may be featured at the annual Miss Alabama Fashion Show.
Each group will do a group walk out first, followed by individual walk, and then a group lineup at the end.

Each group will be assigned a director to escort the contestants from the dressing room to the stage.
